Welcome to the Land of Everest

Nepal is the land of great Himalayas, Lord Buddha and the land of perfect blends of ancient beauty and modernity; with so many geographical and cultural diversities. Nepal as "a yam between two boulders", that separates the Asian giants of China and India. Its cultural landscape is every bit as diverse; some dozen major ethnic groups, speaking as many as sixty different languages and dialects, coexist in this state, while two of the world's greatest religion, Hinduism and Buddhism, overlap and mingle with older tribal traditions- yet it's a testimony to the Nepal's' tolerance and good humor that there is no tradition of ethnic or religious strife. The philosophical treasures, spiritual way of life, ancient literature and Lord Buddha are the greatest image that unites on cultural and philosophical plane among us.

Nepal filled with the pristine beauty of medieval palaces, pagodas, temples, statues and stupas, and it's offers unparalleled adventure options with abundance in flora and fauna. It is rich in scenic splendor and cultural treasures. As for its people --- from the Tharus that shares their land with the splendid Asian tuskers in the plains to the brave Yak herders of Dolpo --- they are as amazing as the land itself. Here in its tropical jungles, the one horned Rhino prowls, and higher up, the legend of the Yeti lives on. Although modernization has set in, the quintessence of ancient Nepal remains amongst its people. But above all, Nepal is a nation of unaffected villagers and terraced hillsides - more then eighty percent of the population lives off the land - and whether you're trekking; sightseeing around the city, sampling this simple lifestyle is perhaps the greatest pleasure of all.

Destination for Nepal Tourism Year 2011

Nepal, nestled between China and India, is the country eight of the world's 10 highest mountains, including Mount Everest. Some Nepal tours view the majestic peak by plane, while more adventurous travelers can hike among its foothills, exploring isolated monasteries, local teahouses, glacial valleys, thundering waterfalls and natural hot springs.

The travel and tours in Nepal are into different groups depending up on the cost and time frame. First, there is a list of travel and tours operators that only visit Nepal, then there is a list of tours that include a visit to Nepal as well as other regions.
